Quality of life for me is the ability for freedom of thought, independence for action, and privacy. To engage in what fills my spirit and gives me more meaning to life. All this is spiced with tastes that I love, supported by the family as well as a tolerant and attentive society.
One of the most important aspects to me is the quality of the emotional/ spiritual life of man. This includes elements such as tranquility, peace, faith, hope, self-esteem, a sense of belonging and satisfaction.
In a place like a hospital, the quality of life of patients and their families is in crisis. My role is to see the person behind the definition of "the patient", to help him and his family find the sources of his spirit and source of his strength that will help him through this difficult period.
